WHAT ARE CREATIVE VOUCHERS?

Creative Vouchers at PrusaLab are a form of support for individuals and companies looking to carry out innovative or experimental projects but lacking the necessary resources. These vouchers allow you to access PrusaLab’s services — from consultations and prototype development to membership — in exchange for non-financial contributions, such as barter, brand collaboration, or partnership.
In this way, the voucher opens the door to collaboration with the Prusa Research ecosystem, even for those who might not otherwise be able to afford it.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM A PROJECT?

A meaningful and innovative project
The project should have a unique edge — whether it’s the fusion of technology and creativity, a positive social impact, or an experimental nature.
Active collaboration and communication
We expect an open-minded approach, regular communication throughout the collaboration, and a strong drive to bring the project to a tangible outcome.
Non-financial contribution
The collaboration is based on an exchange model — for example, through barter, brand activation of Prusa Research, or media promotion of the project.
Sharing outcomes and promotion
We ask for the opportunity to share the process or outcome of the collaboration through our communication channels — such as our website, social media, or case studies.

CO ŘÍKAJÍ ABSOLVENTI?

Účast v programu nám umožnila zmapovat výrobní proces, a vyvinout a otestovat řadu funkčních prototypů. Díky patnáctimilionové výstupní investici jsme navíc byli schopni přesunout celou výrobu do vlastních prostor.

For individuals, creatives, or companies who need to carry out a smaller technical project, a part of it, or a prototype — but lack the necessary resources. The voucher is ideal for those looking to develop an innovative, experimental, or cross-disciplinary project.

The support covers a wide range of services — including hardware development consultations, recommendations on technologies and materials, rapid prototyping, access to experts from PrusaLab and Prusa Research, design iteration, preparation of manufacturing documentation, and connections to other specialists, creatives, or suppliers.

Instead of direct payment, we expect a meaningful form of exchange — such as participation in PR activities, sharing results, barter, joint branding, or establishing a partnership. Each exchange is arranged individually based on the nature of the project.

After you submit the form, we’ll get in touch to assess whether your project aligns with the focus of the voucher. For suitable projects, we’ll follow up with a meeting to agree on the specific scope of support and the form of contribution.

Capacity is limited — we select projects with clear impact, technical potential, and a willingness to collaborate. The voucher is not a grant, but a tool for building meaningful and mutually beneficial partnerships.

It depends on the scope of the project. The initial contact and approval process usually takes a few days, while the actual implementation varies based on complexity — from a few weeks to a longer period in the case of more advanced development.

Yes. PrusaLab does not claim any intellectual property rights over supported projects — the results remain yours, unless otherwise agreed upon as part of a specific collaboration.

Yes, if your project enters a new development phase or you’re starting a new one, you can apply again. Each case is evaluated individually.
