Well, actually both! Design studio Balance is Motion in collaboration with PrusaLab presents Ruderal, a system of furniture and interior elementsthat you assemble yourself into the shape you want. It was originally created to improve living conditions in asylum and refugee centres.
Recycling at heart
These modular elements were printed using FDM 3D printing from recycled material Prusament PETG, but a wide range of materials is being considered, including recycled concrete.
Around the world
This spring, they represented the Czech Republic at the ECO Solidarity New York exhibition as part of the prestigious Wanted Design Week 2023. And if you didn't happen to be passing by, you'll soon be able to see the Czech premiere at this autumn's Designblok in Prague.
