On 24 September, the second Prague Hardware Meetup will take place in Prague. This time, the hardware community will meet SolanaCZE, and the shared theme of the evening will be connecting physical products with Web3.
Following the first Prague Hardware Meetup, we are continuing with a second gathering of the local community of people involved in developing physical products. The event is intended for engineers, developers, makers, startup founders and anyone else who works with or is interested in hardware.
The second meetup is being organised in collaboration with SolanaCZE, so this time, alongside hardware, we will also focus on Web3 and the opportunities that can arise from connecting the two fields.
Hardware, Web3 and the upcoming Solana hackathon
The programme will start at 18:00 with networking, followed by short presentations focused on hardware and the local ecosystem.
SolanaCZE will introduce Solana, the upcoming global hackathon and the Prague Build Station, where those interested can join the hackathon and work on their own projects.
The evening will also include a short Hardware × Web3 Ideathon. Participants will look for ideas on how to meaningfully connect hardware with Web3. No programming, prototype or previous blockchain experience is required. Three selected ideas will receive a reward of 50 dollars.
There will also be space for the participants themselves. If you are working on your own hardware project or have a working prototype, you can bring it along and present it to others during the open mic.
The second gathering of the Prague hardware community
Hardware Meetups take place in more than 50 cities around the world, connecting startup founders, engineers, designers, investors and other people involved in developing physical products. Prague Hardware Meetup brings this format to the local hardware community as well.
The second gathering will take place on Thursday 24 September from 18:00 to 20:30 at Marina Pivovar in Prague. No previous experience with hardware or Web3 is required to attend.
