Smart cattle tags, inflatable roller skates and energy-saving linear projectors – the 2nd cohort of the accelerator concluded with a Demo Day

On Tuesday we successfully concluded second run our PrusaLab hardware accelerator, again in the form of a ceremony Demo Day. Representatives of three projects presented their products in front of inventories a media, there was no shortage of practical demonstrations either.

FlockLock – smart tags for grazing cattle

I am tracking the location, activity a animal health status and the mobile application, which is part of the solution, alerts the breeder to potential risks such as theft, reduced activity or running-in.The student team already verified the concept during their bachelor's thesis. This was followed by an intensive acceleration phase, the result of which is working prototype, custom board with printed circuits, viable mobile app and own algorithm for evaluating livestock data.

Last Miles – inflatable inline skates

They slip directly onto the shoe, which tightly wrap around it after inflation. The folded ones will fit do standard backpack and can thus serve as an alternative for rapid transport around the city, or when travelling.

The result of the joint development is manufacturing jigs inflatable sleeve and system concept frame folding with wheels. The compressor, originally built into the skate chassis, was replaced external electric pump, making the Last Miles compatible with readily available roller skate components.

We are currently working on getting the product out to the first customers who supported Last Miles as part of the crowdfunding campaign on Hithit as soon as possible.

Goboline – smart line projectors

A trio of graduates from this year's acceleration batch is closing the Goboline startup with their smart line-based projectors for warehouses and shops.

In short: their innovative projector instead of the standard circle glows in lines, which brings multiplied efficiency. Especially in warehouse spaces, which make heavy use of line floor markings, the Goboline system means large financial savings. Moreover, the whole system is connected for example, smart floor markings can interactively show a forklift truck driver where to take the load while simultaneously warning pedestrians in good time about an approaching vehicle.

In the accelerator, we managed together to produce and test working prototype and now live testing is up.
