In this episode, Ond\u0159ej Ka\u0161p\u00e1rek talks to Eli\u0161ka Sl\u00e1mov\u00e1 and \u0160imon Brabec, who are behind the Braasi Industry brand. They discuss how what was originally a small project grew into a company known for its backpacks and other design goods, what challenges they had to overcome, and what plans they have for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Story of Braasi Industry<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eli\u0161ka and \u0160imon began their journey as architects who decided to make their own backpacks. Braasi Industry arose from the need to create high-quality, functional and aesthetically appealing products, stemming from personal dissatisfaction with what was available on the market. From the beginning, their brand has focused on local production and sustainability, with all products made directly in the Czech Republic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Braasi backpacks are made<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the key aspects of Braasi Industry is the production process, which encompasses design, prototyping, manufacturing, and sales. Eli\u0161ka and \u0160imon place emphasis on the quality of materials and workmanship, which enables them to offer products that are not only aesthetically appealing, but also functional. In the podcast, they share how the entire production process takes place from the initial idea to the finished product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Challenges and successes along the way<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Braasi Industry faces a number of challenges associated with production in the Czech Republic, particularly rising labour and energy costs. Nevertheless, they manage to keep production local and offer products at reasonable prices. They discuss how they have managed to find a balance between quality and price, and how important it is for them to maintain control over the entire manufacturing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Innovation and cooperation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eli\u0161ka and \u0160imon are constantly trying to push the boundaries of what is possible. In the podcast, you will find out what new products they are preparing, how they use 3D printing in prototyping and production, and what collaborations with other brands await them.
