Why can\u2019t evolution be captured by simple mathematical formulas, and how does the approach to developing practical and aesthetic objects differ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Evolutionary biologist <strong>Petr Ture\u010dek<\/strong> did not find satisfactory answers to these and other questions in any of his predecessors\u2019 work. So he had no choice but to roll up his sleeves and start his <strong>own research<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With the help of parametric designer <strong>Daniel Krej\u010d\u00ed,<\/strong> he <strong>created an experiment<\/strong>, which will involve not only&nbsp;<strong>data collection<\/strong>, but also&nbsp;<strong>a good dose of fun<\/strong>. Participants are asked to create an object that beats its two most successful predecessors in one of the given parameters. They get to test their skills and take the result home. And where better to find enough creative people of all ages and interests than at <strong>Maker Faire<\/strong>?
