ABOUT PRUSALAB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

PrusaLab<\/strong> is the prototyping workshop of Josef Pr\u016f\u0161a and Prusa Research.
We support individuals, project teams, and companies in product development and prototyping.
Backed by a large company and a team of experts, we offer consulting, acceleration packages, and access to a wide ecosystem of technologies.
We\u2019re a place where almost anything can be made\u2014and our mission is to turn ideas into reality.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

HISTORY OF PRUSALAB<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
PrusaLab<\/strong> officially opened as an open-access makerspace on June 6, 2018<\/strong>. The reason behind its creation? Josef Pr\u016f\u0161a wanted to give back to the maker community he himself came from by providing a high-quality creative environment. The lab ran continuously for nearly two years, eventually reaching a milestone of over 100 active members.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, PrusaLab underwent a major transformation. With public access suddenly restricted, we shifted our focus to custom production<\/strong> and simultaneously launched a hardware accelerator program<\/strong> aimed at helping selected projects develop their products through an intensive six-month development cycle.
Encouraged by the success of the accelerator, we introduced a new, exclusive membership model<\/strong> at the end of 2021. Members are now selected based on applications, allowing us to fully dedicate our resources to a smaller number of high-impact projects.<\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
